Talk to your data
Ask the AI about your trading
Connect your Traynio account to Claude or ChatGPT and ask anything about your trades, in your own words. No spreadsheets to export or numbers to copy: it reads your journal, your metrics and your plan directly.
- Connects in a minute, with your account sign-in. No keys to copy.
- Backtesting and Live, together or apart: “do I trade the same live as in replay?”
- Read-only. The only thing it can write is importing trades into your Live account, if you ask it to.
Which mistakes keep repeating in my losing trades?
Reading 94 trades from “Breakout and retest”…
Three rules explain almost everything you lost on top:
- Trading after two losses in a row11 times−6.4 R
- More than 2 trades a day7 times−3.1 R
- Risk above 1%5 times−2.8 R
Had you stopped after the second loss, the session would have closed 6.4 R higher.
Other questions you can ask
- Which weekdays should I avoid?
- Am I improving over time?
- Compare my backtesting with my Live.

Your mentor
Good entry, but you moved your stop away before it was hit. Moving the stop has already cost you 0.9 R over three trades.
Got it. Next time I leave it where I planned.

With your mentor
Let your mentor see what you really did
Invite your mentor and they see your backtesting exactly as you traded it: the journal, every trade with its chart and drawings, and your dashboard. They comment on the actual trade, not on a screenshot lost in a chat.
- Comments on every trade, with a notice when a new one arrives
- Real-time messages with your mentor, without leaving Traynio
- Read-only: your mentor can’t change anything, and only sees your live account if you allow it
Are you a mentor or run an academy?
Invite your whole class with a single link, review each student’s trades and get a notice when one has gone 7, 14 or 30 days without practising.
Do you recognise yourself in any of these?
It isn’t a lack of effort. It’s trading without an honest record of what you do: without clear statistics, the same mistakes come back every month and you never know whether you are improving or just got lucky.
“I lose and I don’t know why.”
With Traynio
The behavior score separates the market from you: discipline, execution, risk and consistency, each scored out of 100.
“I keep making the same mistakes.”
With Traynio
Tag each mistake on the trade and filter the journal by it: you see how many times you repeated it and what it cost you.
“I don’t keep clear statistics.”
With Traynio
The journal fills itself, with MFE, MAE, stops moved and duration, plus 50 indicators with published definitions.
“I trade without data.”
With Traynio
You test the strategy on years of real candles before risking money, with win rate, profit factor and expectancy measured.
“I can’t see my patterns.”
With Traynio
It detects revenge trading, overtrading, erratic risk and when you trade outside your hours.
“I feel like I’m flying blind.”
With Traynio
Equity curve, calendar and your practice days: you see in numbers whether you trade better this month than the last.
Set up the session
Pick the market, the capital and your rules.
Symbol, timeframe, date range, starting balance and costs. Plus the discipline rules you want to keep, written by you, because those are what the dashboard will grade later.
You trade, the engine records
Every trade saves itself.
There is nothing to write down. The engine logs the entry, the partial exits, how many times you moved the stop, the MFE, the MAE and the exact duration. That is what your own review is then checked against.
Read the report
You find out that trading after two losses in a row costs you 6.4 R.
Win rate, profit factor, expectancy, drawdown and the behavior score, backed by a journal you can open trade by trade.

Behavior
Not how much you made: whether you traded well
Profit factor and win rate tell you what happened. The behavior score tells you how you did it: discipline, execution quality, risk management and consistency, measured over the whole set and not over the last trade.

Most-broken rules
Ordered by what they cost you, not by how many times you broke them. That is the order that turns data into a decision.
- 1I don’t trade after two losses in a row−6.4 R11 times

- 4I don’t move the stop once it’s set−0.9 R3 times
Consistency signals
Revenge trading, 38 out of 100. Six times you opened with more than 1.25× your average risk right after a loss.
The session never closes
Results are not a dead end. They are a session you pick back up.
Close the browser wherever you are. The session reopens on the same candle, with open positions intact and the playhead exactly where you left it. A whole prop-firm challenge is one long session you keep picking back up.
Guided mode · for “I want to find my edge”
No strategy yet? Practice a guided scenario.
It is the easiest way in. Pick a setup and we give you the symbol and the dates; then we take you to the sessions where it formed, so you learn to recognize it before risking anything.
We tell you what to practice
Every scenario describes the setup in plain words, so you never sit staring at a blank chart.
We tell you where to look
You jump to the sessions where that setup actually formed and replay them one by one.
You build the repetition
You practice the same pattern over months of history until you recognize it cold.

Against pure replay
The session does not end at the chart
Replaying candles is solved on several platforms. What is not solved is what comes after: journal, dashboard and behavior are included.
Against trading journals
Two records that never mix
In backtesting the journal is filled by the engine: if the trade exists, it is because you made it in the replay, and there is no way to dress it up. Your real trading lives in Live Mode, separately, and there you do write it yourself. No screen adds the two together.
Against charting platforms
The future never reaches the browser
The server is the authority on the playhead and returns not one later candle, not even with tampered parameters. There is a whole test suite just for that.

Questions
What is manual backtesting?
Trading real history candle by candle, as if it were live: you watch each bar form, decide whether to enter, place the order and manage it. Unlike an automated backtest, it measures your execution as well as the strategy.
Does Traynio use artificial intelligence?
No. Neither to generate strategies nor to judge them. The 50 indicators and the behavior score are fixed formulas, written in advance and the same for every trader: with the same data they always give the same result. A verdict that changes between runs is no use for correcting anyone. What you can do is connect your account to Claude or ChatGPT and ask them about your data: you choose that AI, and it only reads.
Can I see the future by accident?
No. The server is the authority on the playhead and never returns a later candle, not by changing the request parameters, not by asking for another timeframe, not by reconnecting the stream. There is a test suite dedicated to trying exactly that from six different angles.
Which markets can I trade?
Gold (XAUUSD) and the six major currency pairs: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD, USDCAD and USDCHF. Validated one-minute candles, aggregated to 5 m, 15 m, 1 h, 4 h and daily, with the day closing at 5:00 p.m. New York.
How realistic is the simulation?
The engine walks each candle from the inside, minute by minute: an order enters at the candle price and a level fills when price touches it, with no costs in the way. The simulation charges no spread, commission or swap, so what you measure is your execution and not a broker’s fee. If the stop and the target are both touched within the same minute, the stop wins, and the interface tells you so.
Can I import my broker’s trades?
No, and that is deliberate. Every trade comes from the replay engine. It is the only way to guarantee the record isn’t dressed up, and to know things no import carries: MFE, MAE, how many times you moved the stop, or how many seconds you took to click after the candle closed.
Is it useful for preparing a prop-firm challenge?
Yes. You set the target, the daily limit, the maximum total loss and the minimum days, or apply a preset. The total limit is static on the starting capital, which is how the firms compute it, and the daily limit uses the day’s minimum equity against the opening balance at 5:00 p.m. New York.
What if I’ve only made a few trades?
Below 20 closed trades, the win rate, the profit factor, the expectancy and the score appear dimmed with an insufficient-sample warning. We’d rather tell you nothing can be concluded yet than hand you a number that reads like a truth.
Stop flying blind.
Trade real history bar by bar and find out, with numbers, whether the problem is your strategy or it’s you.
